the HNGR program at Wheaton College will be hosting on November 2-3, 2016, at Wheaton College. We have invited representatives from Tearfund (UK) and Micah Challenge (USA) to share about the work they are doing to mobilize Christians around the world to advocate for sustainable economic policies and practices.
The event will kick off on Wednesday, November 2 (7:00 pm), with a viewing of the documentary film For the Love Of, which recounts the journeys of four Christian artists and musicians as they learn about the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities around the world. The film will be followed with time of Q & A with Jason Fileta, the director ofMicah Challenge, and Sarah Wiggins, who serves as Policy Officer at Tearfund. On Thursday, November 3 (7:00 pm) we will be hosting Paul Cook, the Advocacy Director at Tearfund, who will deliver a plenary lecture entitled “Creating the Restorative Economy.”
